Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1547","heading":"Person acquiring machine or device with mark removed,","body":"altered, etc.\n\nAny person, firm or corporation who acquires, for the purpose of\n\nsale or resale and possesses any machine or electrical or mechanical\n\ndevice or apparatus, or any of the parts thereof, from or on which\n\nany trademark, distinguishing or identification number, serial\n\nnumber or mark has been removed, covered, altered, changed, defaced,\n\ndestroyed, obliterated or substituted for, is guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor, unless within ten (10) days after such machine or\n\nelectrical or mechanical device or apparatus, or any such part\n\nthereof, shall have come into his or its possession, said person,\n\nfirm or corporation files with the chief law enforcement officer of\n\nthe municipality in which the machine or electrical or mechanical\n\ndevice or apparatus or any such part thereof is located, or to the\n\ncounty sheriff of the county wherein said property is located if not\n\nwithin a municipality, a verified statement showing: The source of\n\nhis or its title, identification or distinguishing number or serial\n\nnumber or mark, if known, and, if known, the manner of and reason\n\nfor such mutilation, change, alteration, concealment, defacement or\n\nsubstitution, the length of time such machine or electrical or\n\nmechanical device or apparatus or part has been held, and the price\n\npaid therefor, and provided further, that any and all such verified\n\nstatements shall be available for inspection by any interested\n\nperson.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"60ecc63f263919590a61bfe0f248b0f1ea64cdf20cc03ed8125ca841f2a5c24b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1546","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1548"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
