Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1575","heading":"False bank note plates","body":"Every person who, makes or engraves, or causes or procures to be\n\nmade or engraved, any plate in the form or similitude of any\n\npromissory note, bill of exchange, draft, check, certificate of\n\ndeposit or other evidence of debt issued by any banking corporation\n\nor association, or individual banker, incorporated or carrying on\n\nbusiness under the laws of this state, or of any other state,\n\ngovernment or country, without the authority of such bank, or has or\n\nkeeps in his custody or possession any such plate, without the\n\nauthority of such bank, with intent to use or permit the same to be\n\nused for the purpose of taking therefrom any impression, to be\n\npassed, sold or altered, or has or keeps in his custody or\n\npossession, without the authority of such bank, any impression taken\n\nfrom any such plate, with intent to have the same filled up and\n\ncompleted for the purpose of being passed, sold or altered; or makes\n\nor causes to be made, or has in his custody or possession, any plate\n\nupon which are engraved any figures, or words, which may be used for\n\nthe purpose of falsely altering any evidence of debt issued by any\n\nsuch bank, with intent to use the same, or to permit them to be used\n\nfor such purpose, is guilty of forgery in the second degree.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4ec300e786920f6d65fbb64da213fee47c52b4a72f223035f12649698c924472","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1574","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1576"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
