Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1753.9","heading":"Return of road signs or markers without penalty - Time","body":"period.\n\nA. Within the first ninety (90) days after the effective date\n\nof this act, every person possessing any city, state or county road\n\nsign or marker may return it to the county sheriff of the residency\n\nof the person without penalty of law, provided the provisions of\n\nthis subsection shall not apply to any person who removed the sign\n\nor marker if the removal of the sign or marker resulted in death or\n\npersonal injury.\n\nB. The sheriff shall hold any returned city, state or county\n\nroad sign or marker and shall notify the Department of\n\nTransportation that such signs or markers have been returned.
