Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1785","heading":"Works of literature or art in public place, injuring","body":"Any person who maliciously cuts, tears, disfigures, soils,\n\nobliterates, breaks or destroys any book, map, chart, picture,\n\nengraving, statue, coin, model, apparatus, specimen or other work of\n\nliterature or art, or object of curiosity deposited in any public\n\nlibrary, gallery, museum, collection, fair or exhibition shall, upon\n\nconviction, be guilty of a Class D3 felony offense punishable by\n\nimprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of Section\n\n20P of this title.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2790.
