Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1786","heading":"Injuries to pipes and wires","body":"Any person who willfully breaks, digs up or obstructs any pipes\n\nor mains for conducting gas or water, or any works erected for\n\nsupplying buildings with gas or water, or any appurtenances or\n\nappendages therewith connected, or injures, cuts, breaks down or\n\ndestroys any electric light wires, poles or appurtenances, or any\n\ntelephone or telegraph wires, cable or appurtenances shall, upon\n\nconviction, be guilty of a Class D3 felony offense punishable by\n\nimprisonment in the State Penitentiary not exceeding three (3)\n\nyears, or in the county jail not exceeding one (1) year, and by a\n\nfine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2791.
