Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1862","heading":"Commercial solicitation by facsimile device -","body":"Definitions.\n\nAs used in this act:\n\n\"Facsimile device\" means a machine capable of receiving and\n\nreproducing facsimiles of text or images transmitted electronically\n\nor telephonically through telecommunication lines connecting to the\n\nmachine; and\n\n\"Commercial solicitation\" means an unsolicited electronic or\n\ntelephonic transmission to a facsimile device to encourage the\n\npurchase of goods, realty, services or to advertise availability of\n\nsuch goods, realty or services.
