Willfully, and without authorization, gain or attempt to\n\ngain access to and damage, modify, alter, delete, destroy, copy,\n\nmake use of, use malicious computer programs on, disclose or take\n\npossession of a computer, computer system, computer network, data or\n\nany other property;\n\n2. Use a computer, computer system, computer network or any\n\nother property as hereinbefore defined for the purpose of devising\n\nor executing a scheme or artifice with the intent to defraud,\n\ndeceive, extort or for the purpose of controlling or obtaining\n\nmoney, property, data, services or other thing of value by means of\n\na false or fraudulent pretense or representation;\n\n3. Willfully exceed the limits of authorization and damage,\n\nmodify, alter, destroy, copy, delete, disclose or take possession of\n\na computer, computer system, computer network, data or any other\n\nproperty;\n\n4. Willfully and without authorization, gain or attempt to gain\n\naccess to a computer, computer system, computer network, data or any\n\nother property;\n\n5. Willfully and without authorization use or cause to be used\n\ncomputer services;\n\n6. Willfully and without authorization disrupt or cause the\n\ndisruption of computer services or deny or cause the denial of\n\naccess or other computer services to an authorized user of a\n\ncomputer, computer system or computer network, other than an\n\nauthorized entity acting for a legitimate business purpose with the\n\neffective consent of the owner;\n\n7. Willfully and without authorization provide or assist in\n\nproviding a means of accessing a computer, computer system, data or\n\ncomputer network in violation of this section;\n\n8. Willfully use a computer, computer system, or computer\n\nnetwork to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass another person;\n\n9. Willfully use a computer, computer system, or computer\n\nnetwork to put another person in fear of physical harm or death; and\n\n10. Willfully solicit another, regardless of any financial\n\nconsideration or exchange of property, of any acts described in\n\nparagraphs 1 through 9 of this subsection.\n\nB. Any person convicted of violating paragraph 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9\n\nor 10 of subsection A of this section shall be guilty of a Class C2\n\nfelony offense punishable as provided in Section 1955 of this title.\n\nC. Any person convicted of violating paragraph 4, 5 or 8 of\n\nsubsection A of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.\n\nD. Nothing in the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act shall be\n\nconstrued to prohibit the monitoring of computer usage of, or the\n\ndenial of computer or Internet access to, a child by a parent, legal\n\nguardian, legal custodian, or foster parent. As used in this\n\nsubsection, \"child\" shall mean any person less than eighteen (18)\n\nyears of age.\n\nE. Nothing in the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act shall be\n\nconstrued to prohibit testing by an authorized entity, the purpose\n\nof which is to provide to the owner or operator of the computer,\n\ncomputer system or computer network an evaluation of the security of\n\nthe computer, computer system or computer network against real or\n\nimagined threats or harms.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f6df84277469636f11e8760736c84987eef31dde7e7af5b13c8403c975693cce","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1952","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1954"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
