Any company engaged in the business of ice cream truck\n\nvending shall conduct an annual name search against the Oklahoma Sex\n\nOffender Registry for each ice cream truck operator prior to\n\nallowing such person to engage in the business of ice cream truck\n\nvending in this state. Each business shall maintain records or\n\nother proof that a name search was conducted on each ice cream truck\n\noperator, and each person searched has no requirement to register as\n\na sex offender. Any business entity discovering that a person has\n\noperated, or has attempted to operate, an ice cream truck shall\n\nreport such information to the district attorney. Any person who\n\nfails to report information of violations or to comply with records\n\nor name search requirements shall be guilty, upon conviction, of a\n\nmisdemeanor.\n\nB. Individuals engaged in the business of ice cream truck\n\nvending who are sole proprietors shall be required to sign, and have\n\nin the person’s possession while operating an ice cream truck, a\n\nnotarized statement signed under oath stating that the person is not\n\nrequired to register as a sex offender. The statement shall be\n\nrenewed annually.
