Stat. tit. 21, § 21-382","heading":"Officers receiving bribes","body":"Every executive, legislative, county, municipal, judicial, or\n\nother public officer, or any employee of the State of Oklahoma or\n\nany political subdivision thereof, including peace officers and any\n\nother law enforcement officer, or any person assuming to act as such\n\nofficer, who corruptly accepts or requests a gift or gratuity, or a\n\npromise to make a gift, or a promise to do an act beneficial to such\n\nofficer, or that judgment shall be given in any particular manner,\n\nor upon a particular side of any question, cause or proceeding,\n\nwhich is or may be by law brought before him in his official\n\ncapacity, or as a consideration for any speech, work, or service in\n\nconnection therewith, or that in such capacity he shall make any\n\nparticular nomination or appointment, shall forfeit his office, be\n\nforever disqualified to hold any public office, trust, or\n\nappointment under the laws of this state, and be guilty of a Class\n\nC2 felony offense punishable by imprisonment as provided for in\n\nsubsections B through F of Section 20M of this title, or by a fine\n\nnot exceeding Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) and imprisonment in\n\njail not exceeding one (1) year.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2184.
