Stat. tit. 21, § 21-388","heading":"Attempts to influence jurors","body":"Every person who attempts to influence a juror, or any person\n\nsummoned or drawn as a juror, or chosen as arbitrator or appointed a\n\nreferee, in respect to his or her verdict, or decision of any cause\n\nor matter pending, or about to be brought before him or her, either:\n\n1. By means of any communication oral or written had with him\n\nor her, except in the regular course of proceedings upon the trial\n\nof the cause;\n\n2. By means of any book, paper, or instrument, exhibited\n\notherwise than in the regular course of proceedings, upon the trial\n\nof the cause;\n\n3. By means of any threat or intimidation; or\n\n4. By means of any assurance or promise of any pecuniary or\n\nother advantage,\n\nis guilty of a Class C2 felony offense punishable by a fine not to\n\nexceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or by imprisonment as\n\nprovided for in subsections B through F of Section 20M of this\n\ntitle, or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2190.
