Stat. tit. 21, § 21-436","heading":"Attempt to escape from other prison than penitentiary","body":"Any prisoner confined in any other prison than the penitentiary,\n\nwho attempts by force or fraud, although unsuccessfully, to escape\n\ntherefrom, is guilty of a Class D2 felony offense punishable by\n\nimprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one (1) year, to\n\ncommence from the expiration of the original term of his\n\nimprisonment. Any subsequent conviction pursuant to this section\n\nshall be a Class D2 felony offense, punishable by imprisonment as\n\nprovided for in subsection C of Section 20O of this title.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2200.
