Stat. tit. 21, § 21-437","heading":"Assisting prisoner to escape","body":"Any person who willfully by any means whatever, assists any\n\nprisoner confined in any prison to escape therefrom, is punishable\n\nas follows:\n\n1. If such prisoner was confined upon a charge or conviction of\n\na felony, such person shall be guilty of a Class C1 felony offense\n\npunishable by imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through\n\nE of Section 20L of this title.\n\n2. If such prisoner was confined otherwise than upon a charge\n\nor conviction of a felony, such person shall be guilty of a Class D3\n\nfelony offense punishable by imprisonment as provided for in\n\nsubsections B through F of Section 20P of this title, or by fine,\n\nnot exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or both.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2201.
