Stat. tit. 21, § 21-567B","heading":"Failure to appear for jury service - Sanctions","body":"\n\nAn individual who fails to appear in person on the date\n\nscheduled for jury service and who has failed to obtain a\n\npostponement in compliance with the provisions for requesting a\n\npostponement, or who fails to appear on the date set pursuant to\n\nSection 9 of this act, shall be in indirect contempt of court and\n\nshall be punished by the imposition of a fine not to exceed Five\n\nHundred Dollars ($500.00). The prospective juror may be excused\n\nfrom paying sanctions for good cause shown or in the interests of\n\njustice.
