Stat. tit. 21, § 21-645","heading":"Assault, battery, or assault and battery with dangerous","body":"weapon.\n\nEvery person who, with intent to do bodily harm and without\n\njustifiable or excusable cause, commits any assault, battery, or\n\nassault and battery upon the person of another with any sharp or\n\ndangerous weapon, or who, without such cause, shoots at another,\n\nwith any kind of firearm, air gun, conductive energy weapon or other\n\nmeans whatever, with intent to injure any person, although without\n\nthe intent to kill such person or to commit any felony, upon\n\nconviction is guilty of a Class B4 felony offense punishable by\n\nimprisonment in the State Penitentiary not exceeding ten (10) years,\n\nor by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one (1) year.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2344.
