Stat. tit. 21, § 21-856.2","heading":"Harboring endangered runaway child","body":"It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly and willfully\n\nharbour an endangered runaway child. Any person violating the\n\nprovisions of this section shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding One Thousand Dollars\n\n($1,000.00), or by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one\n\n(1) year, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Every person\n\nconvicted of a second or any subsequent violation shall, upon\n\nconviction, be guilty of a Class D2 felony offense punishable by a\n\nfine not exceeding Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or by\n\nimprisonment as provided for in subsection C of Section 20O of this\n\ntitle, or by both such fine and imprisonment. For purposes of this\n\nsection, an “endangered runaway child” means an unemancipated minor\n\nwho is voluntarily absent from the home for seventy-two (72) hours\n\nor more without a compelling reason and without the consent of a\n\ncustodial parent or other custodial adult or an unemancipated minor\n\nwho is voluntarily absent from the home without a compelling reason\n\nand without the consent of a custodial parent or other custodial\n\nadult and the child needs medication or other special services.
