Stat. tit. 21, § 21-943","heading":"Gambling paraphernalia - Disposition","body":"The magistrate or justice of the peace to whom anything suitable\n\nto be used for gambling purposes, or furniture or equipment used in\n\na place conducted in violation of this Act is delivered, as provided\n\nby law shall, upon the examination of the accused, or if such\n\nexamination is delayed, or prevented, without awaiting such\n\nexamination, determine the character of the thing so delivered to\n\nhim and whether it was actually intended or employed by the accused\n\nor others in violation of the provisions of this article; and if he\n\nfinds that it is of a character suitable to be used for gambling\n\npurposes, and that it was actually employed or intended to be used\n\nby the accused or others, in violation of the provisions of this\n\nArticle, he shall so find and cause the same to be delivered to the\n\nsheriff to await the order of the district court.
