Stat. tit. 21, § 21-970","heading":"Slot machines - Acts prohibited - Punishment - Amusement","body":"machine or device near public school.\n\nAny person who sets up, operates or conducts, or who permits to\n\nbe set up, operated and conducted, in or about any place of\n\nbusiness, or in or about any place, whether as owner, employee or\n\nagent, any slot machine for the purpose of having or allowing same\n\nto be played by others for money, property, tangible or intangible,\n\ncoin, currency, check, chip, token, credit, or any representative of\n\nvalue or a thing of value, except amusement or entertainment, or who\n\nsets up, operates or conducts, or who permits to be set up, operated\n\nor conducted, in or about any place of business, or in or about any\n\nplace, whether as owner, employee or agent, any amusement machine,\n\ninstrument, mechanism or device within three hundred (300) feet of\n\nany public school in this state, said distance to be measured from\n\nthe school building, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and\n\nupon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than Fifty\n\nDollars ($50.00) nor more than One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00),\n\nor by imprisonment in the county jail for a term of not more than\n\nsixty (60) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c6ffb20d12b3bb61f6741377df5bb1f5fad788f1a20819d80cef05ef219d0526","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-97","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-971"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
