In misdemeanor and felony cases the appeal must be perfected\n\nwithin ninety (90) days from the date of the pronouncement of the\n\njudgment and sentence. A transcript in both felony and misdemeanor\n\ncases must be filed as hereinafter directed.\n\nB. It shall be the duty of the clerk of the court from which\n\nnotice of appeal has been given, and in which the original record\n\nand transcript are to be filed, to notify the clerk of the Court of\n\nCriminal Appeals when the original record and transcripts are\n\nassembled for transmission to the Court of Criminal Appeals, and the\n\nparties, or their counsel, have been advised to that effect. The\n\nclerk of the Court of Criminal Appeals shall, within ten (10) days\n\nafter the receipt of the district court clerk's notice of the\n\ncompletion of the record, issue a notice to transmit the original\n\nand one certified copy of the appeal records to the clerk of the\n\nCourt of Criminal Appeals and one certified copy of the original\n\nrecords and transcripts to either the Oklahoma Indigent Defense\n\nSystem, pursuant to Section 1362 of this title, or the retained or\n\nother appointed counsel of record on appeal.\n\nC. When the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System or another\n\nattorney has been appointed to represent an indigent defendant in an\n\napplication for post-conviction relief where the defendant has\n\nreceived one or more sentences of death, the notice to the district\n\ncourt clerk shall require a certified copy be sent to the Oklahoma\n\nIndigent Defense System or the other attorney in addition to the\n\ncopy provided for direct appeal.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 5991.
