Stat. tit. 22, § 22-1077","heading":"Bail allowable","body":"Bail on appeal shall be allowed on appeal from a judgment of\n\nconviction of a misdemeanor, or in felony cases where the punishment\n\nis a fine only, and when made and approved shall stay the execution\n\nof such judgment. Bail on appeal after April 17, 1969, shall not be\n\nallowed after conviction of any of the following offenses:\n\n1. Murder in any degree;\n\n2. Kidnapping for purpose of extortion;\n\n3. Robbery with a dangerous weapon;\n\n4. Rape in any degree;\n\n5. Arson in the first degree;\n\n6. Shooting with intent to kill;\n\n7. Manslaughter in the first degree;\n\n8. Forcible sodomy;\n\n9. Any felony conviction for which the evidence shows that the\n\ndefendant used or was in possession of a firearm or other dangerous\n\nor deadly weapon during the commission of the offense;\n\n10. Trafficking in illegal drugs;\n\n11. Manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance;\n\n12. Abuse against an intimate partner as defined by Section\n\n60.1 of this title;\n\n13. Abuse of a child;\n\n14. Sexual abuse of a child; or\n\n15.
