Stat. tit. 22, § 22-1090.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act:\n\n1. “Domestic violence” means any act of physical harm or the\n\nthreat of imminent physical harm which is committed by an adult,\n\nemancipated minor, or minor child thirteen (13) years of age or\n\nolder against another adult, emancipated minor, or minor child who\n\nis currently or was previously an intimate partner or family or\n\nhousehold member;\n\n2. “Physical abuse” means any real or threatened physical\n\ninjury or damage to the body that is not accidental;\n\n3. “Post-traumatic stress disorder” means the same as such term\n\nis defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental\n\nDisorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5, 2013), and occurred as a result of\n\nthe victimization of a survivor related to the violence or abuse;\n\n4. “Psychological abuse” means a pattern of real or threatened\n\nmental intimidation, threats, coercive control, economic or\n\nfinancial control, and humiliation that provokes fear of harm; and\n\n5. “Sentencing hearing” means a postconviction hearing in which\n\nthe defendant is brought before the court for imposition of a\n\nsentence.","path":["OK Code","Title 22"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os22.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"15c20dd1b09b1da657fc4f369b129a2b9fd094ca8a91909961e74cec4173d4e9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-1090.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-1090.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
