Stat. tit. 22, § 22-1141.13","heading":"Issuance of warrant of arrest by judge or magistrate","body":"Whenever any person within this state shall be charged on the\n\noath of any credible person before any judge or magistrate of this\n\nstate with the commission of any crime in any other state and,\n\nexcept in cases arising under Section 6, with having fled from\n\njustice or with having been convicted of a crime in that state and\n\nhaving escaped from confinement, or having broken the terms of his\n\nbail, probation or parole, or whenever complaint shall have been\n\nmade before any judge or magistrate in this state setting forth on\n\nthe affidavit of any credible person in another state that a crime\n\nhas been committed in such other state, and that the accused has\n\nbeen charged in such state with the commission of the crime, and,\n\nexcept in cases arising under Section 6, has fled from justice, or\n\nwith having been convicted of a crime in that state and having\n\nescaped from confinement, or having broken the terms of his bail,\n\nprobation or parole and is believed to be in this state, the judge\n\nor magistrate shall issue a warrant directed to any peace officer\n\ncommanding him to apprehend the person named therein, wherever he\n\nmay be found in this state, and to bring him before the same or any\n\nother judge, magistrate or court who or which may be available in or\n\nconvenient of access to the place where the arrest may be made, to\n\nanswer the charge or complaint and affidavit, and a certified copy\n\nof the sworn charge or complaint and affidavit upon which the\n\nwarrant is issued shall be attached to the warrant.","path":["OK Code","Title 22"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os22.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8b6aba3f954667a2eb844c2688e00191c1755452af4b0c28309efad4a2f9a4b6","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-1141.12","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-1141.14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
