Stat. tit. 22, § 22-1141.5","heading":"Agreement for return to other state - Surrender of","body":"person leaving state involuntarily.\n\nWhen it is desired to have returned to this state a person\n\ncharged in this state with a crime, and such person is imprisoned or\n\nis held under criminal proceedings then pending against him in\n\nanother state, the Governor of this state may agree with the\n\nexecutive authority of such other state for the extradition of such\n\nperson before the conclusion of such proceedings or his term of\n\nsentence in such other state, upon condition that such person be\n\nreturned to such other state at the expense of this state as soon as\n\nthe prosecution in this state is terminated.\n\nThe Governor of this state may also surrender on demand of the\n\nexecutive authority of any other state any person in this state who\n\nis charged in the manner provided in Section 23 of this act with\n\nhaving violated the laws of the state whose executive authority is\n\nmaking the demand, even though such person left the demanding state\n\ninvoluntarily.","path":["OK Code","Title 22"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os22.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9a86f9cbf854ffa4bbff63beb3a5cda03d8429d5e65e7a5a878fcbf85abe65f3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-1141.4","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-1141.6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
