Stat. tit. 22, § 22-1184","heading":"Proceedings on accusation","body":"After receiving the accusation, the judge to whom it is\n\ndelivered must forthwith cause it to be transmitted to the district\n\nattorney of the county or subdivision, except when he is the officer\n\naccused, who must cause a copy thereof to be served upon the\n\ndefendant, and required by written notice of not less than five (5)\n\ndays that he appear before the district court of the county or\n\nsubdivision, and answer the accusation at a specified time.
