Stat. tit. 22, § 22-1355.13A","heading":"Death penalty cases - Compensation of attorneys","body":"appointed prior to July 1, 1991.\n\nIn any case wherein a defendant was subject to the death penalty\n\nand counsel was appointed and assigned, prior to July 1, 1991, to\n\nrepresent such defendant in the case because the defendant had no\n\nmeans and was unable to employ counsel, the court shall allow and\n\ndirect to be paid from the Supreme Court Revolving Fund, unless\n\notherwise provided by law, reasonable and just compensation to the\n\ncounsel so assigned for such services as counsel may render, to\n\ninclude expert and investigative services, as approved by the Chief\n\nJustice of the Supreme Court. This section shall not apply to cases\n\nassigned for trial to the Indigent Defense System.\n\nIn any case subject to the provisions of this section, wherein\n\nthe case is reversed and remanded for new trial on appeal, the case\n\nshall be assigned pursuant to the Indigent Defense Act, Section\n\n1355.1 et seq. of Title 22 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or pursuant to\n\nSection 138.1 et seq. of Title 19 of the Oklahoma Statutes.","path":["OK Code","Title 22"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os22.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c8cc4415e86a854bf0adbfb85404f7c8513a2b2a4daad88c64499aebc9f85749","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-1355.13","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-1355.14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
