If the Executive Director determines that a conflict of\n\ninterest exists at the trial level between a defendant and an\n\nattorney employed by the System, the case may be reassigned by the\n\nExecutive Director to another attorney employed by the System, or to\n\na private attorney with whom the System has a contract for indigent\n\ndefense or who is included on a list of attorneys as provided in\n\nsubsection C of this section.\n\nB. If the Executive Director determines that a conflict of\n\ninterest exists at the trial level between a defendant and an\n\nattorney who represents indigents either pursuant to a contract with\n\nthe System or as assigned by the System, the case may be reassigned\n\nby the Executive Director to an attorney employed by the System,\n\nanother attorney who represents indigents pursuant to a contract\n\nwith the System, or another private attorney who has agreed to\n\naccept such assignments pursuant to subsection C of this section.\n\nC. Assignment of a case by the System to a private attorney in\n\nall counties of this state served by the System shall be from a list\n\nof attorneys willing to accept such assignments and who meet the\n\nqualifications established by the System for such assignments.\n\nD.
