The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation shall be the\n\nentity recognized by the Bureau of Justice Statistics as the\n\nStatistical Analysis Center.\n\nB. In addition to other duties specified by law, the duties of\n\nthe Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation shall be to:\n\n1. Provide a clearinghouse for criminal justice information;\n\n2. Provide a central contact point for federal, state, and\n\nlocal criminal justice agencies;\n\n3. Provide technical assistance for all criminal justice\n\nagencies of this state;\n\n4. Provide consultation for criminal justice agencies of this\n\nstate in preparing reports, gaining funding, or preparing\n\ninformation;\n\n5. Obtain information from criminal justice agencies in this\n\nstate for analyses of criminal justice issues;\n\n6. Collect and analyze criminal justice data;\n\n7. Produce reports for state and local criminal justice\n\nagencies;\n\n8. Facilitate information networking between criminal justice\n\nagencies;\n\n9. Attend meetings concerning criminal justice issues;\n\n10. Represent this state at national meetings including, but\n\nnot limited to, meetings or conferences of criminal justice\n\nstatistics associations of other states;\n\n11. Assist in developing resources for the criminal justice\n\nsystem;\n\n12. Address pertinent issues related to prevention and\n\nintervention programs;\n\n13. Provide assistance to the Oklahoma Crime Stoppers\n\nAssociation;\n\n14. Create and publish by December 1 each year a uniform\n\nreporting standard for citing state criminal statutes to be used in\n\nreporting information to and from all criminal justice information\n\nsystems within this state. The uniform reporting standard shall be\n\ndeveloped in consultation with the Administrative Office of the\n\nCourts, the Department of Corrections, the District Attorneys\n\nCouncil, the Department of Public Safety through the Oklahoma Law\n\nEnforcement Telecommunications System Division, and the Office of\n\nJuvenile Affairs. The uniform reporting standard shall be used by\n\nall criminal justice information systems and shall be the standard\n\nfor reporting arrests, criminal and juvenile delinquency charges,\n\ncharge and case dispositions, custody records, and any other record\n\npurporting to identify a criminal history record or information\n\nrelating to arrests, charges, custody, adjudication, conviction, and\n\ndisposition of criminal or juvenile matters; and\n\n15.
