Stat. tit. 22, § 22-1519","heading":"Criminal Justice Computer Assistance Act - Offender Data","body":"Information System.\n\nA. This section shall be known and may be cited as the\n\n“Criminal Justice Computer Assistance Act”.\n\nB. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is directed to\n\nimplement and administer a data information system called the\n\n“Offender Data Information System”, subject to funding. The purpose\n\nof the System shall be to:\n\n1. Provide software and support to interested criminal justice\n\nagencies to assist in record keeping and data reporting functions;\n\n2. Provide a uniform method for sharing data and information\n\nfrom existing databases operated by participating agencies; and\n\n3. Transmit data and other information from participating\n\ncriminal justice agencies to other local, state and federal agencies\n\nupon request or as necessary.\n\nC. The Bureau is directed to develop procedures for the\n\nadministration, participation, operation and use of the Offender\n\nData Information System.\n\nD. Any criminal justice agency of this state may voluntarily\n\nparticipate in the Offender Data Information System. The Bureau may\n\ncharge a reasonable user fee for those criminal justice agencies\n\nthat participate in the Offender Data Information System. All\n\nmonies received from such fees shall be deposited in the OSBI\n\nRevolving Fund.\n\nE.
