Stat. tit. 22, § 22-274","heading":"Subsequent security may be demanded - Arrest of witness","body":"When, however, any material witness on the part of the people\n\nhas been discharged on his undertaking, without surety, if\n\nafterwards, on the sworn application of the district attorney or\n\nother person on behalf of the state, made to the magistrate or to\n\nany judge, it satisfactorily appears that the presence of such\n\nwitness or any other person on the part of the people is material or\n\nnecessary on the trial in court, such magistrate or judge may compel\n\nsuch witness, or any other material witness on the part of the\n\nstate, to give an undertaking with sureties, to appear on the said\n\ntrial and give his testimony therein; and, for that purpose, the\n\nsaid magistrate or judge may issue a warrant against such person,\n\nunder his hand, with or without seal, directed to a sheriff, marshal\n\nor other officer, to arrest such person and bring him before such\n\nmagistrate or judge.","path":["OK Code","Title 22"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os22.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ac7aa9b49d0cd2cbd9065448eeb2d57dbd015eb8e5cad97593f40ee32e3f108b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-273","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-275"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
