Stat. tit. 22, § 22-36","heading":"Civil and criminal immunity for private citizens aiding","body":"police officers - Federal law enforcement officers.\n\nPrivate citizens aiding a peace officer, or other officers of\n\nthe law in the performance of their duties as peace officers or\n\nofficers of the law, shall have the same civil and criminal immunity\n\nas a peace officer, as a result of any act or commission for aiding\n\nor attempting to aid a peace officer or other officer of the law,\n\nwhen such officer is in imminent danger of loss of life or grave\n\nbodily injury or when such officer requests such assistance and when\n\nsuch action was taken under emergency conditions and in good faith.\n\nEvery federal law enforcement officer, as defined in Section 99\n\nof Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, while engaged in the\n\nperformance of official duties as a federal law enforcement officer\n\nor when serving as a peace officer for the State of Oklahoma shall\n\nhave the same immunity from civil and criminal actions as any other\n\npeace officer performing official duties within this state.
