Stat. tit. 22, § 22-36.2","heading":"National Park Service rangers - Arrest authority and","body":"immunity from suit.\n\nA National Park Service ranger who, in the official capacity as\n\npark ranger, is authorized by law to make arrests shall, when making\n\nan arrest in this state for a nonfederal offense, have the same\n\nlegal status and immunity from suit as a state or local law\n\nenforcement officer if the arrest is made under the following\n\ncircumstances:\n\n1. The Park Service ranger reasonably believes that the person\n\narrested has committed a felony in the presence of the ranger or is\n\ncommitting a felony in the presence of the ranger;\n\n2. The Park Service ranger reasonably believes the person\n\narrested has committed a misdemeanor that amounts to a breach of the\n\npeace in the presence of the ranger or is committing a misdemeanor\n\nthat amounts to a breach of the peace in the presence of the ranger;\n\nor\n\n3.
