Stat. tit. 22, § 22-384","heading":"Names of witnesses endorsed on indictment","body":"When an indictment is found, the names of the witnesses examined\n\nbefore the grand jury must be endorsed thereon before the same is\n\npresented to the court, but a failure to so endorse the said names\n\nshall not be sufficient reason for setting aside the indictment if\n\nthe district attorney or prosecuting officer will within a\n\nreasonable time, to be fixed by the court, endorse the names of the\n\nwitnesses for the prosecution on the indictment. Provided that the\n\nnames of witnesses examined before the grand jury on matters not\n\nconcerning the indictment in question shall not be endorsed on the\n\nindictment relative to such case.
