Stat. tit. 22, § 22-564","heading":"Change of venue - Court may require bail","body":"When the court has ordered a removal of the action, it may\n\nrequire the accused, if the offense be then bailable, to enter into\n\nan undertaking with good and sufficient sureties to be approved by\n\nthe court, in such sum as the court may direct conditioned for his\n\nappearance in the court to which the action has been removed, on the\n\nfirst day of the next term thereof, and to abide the order of such\n\ncourt; and in default of such undertaking, a warrant shall be issued\n\nto the sheriff or other proper officer commanding him safely to keep\n\nthe prisoner and at the proper time to convey him to the jail of the\n\ncounty where he is to be tried, there to be safely kept by the\n\njailer thereof until discharged by due course of law.","path":["OK Code","Title 22"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os22.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"038b6c5ad76dba031c0e2ec2dba07c9b21884b04532e371f90725e46a0252f17","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-563","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-22-22-565"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
