Any physician, surgeon, resident, intern, physician’s\n\nassistant, registered nurse, or any other health care professional\n\nexamining, attending, or treating the victim of what appears to be\n\ndomestic abuse or is reported by the victim to be domestic abuse,\n\nparticipating in good faith and exercising due care in the making of\n\na report pursuant to the provisions of the Domestic Abuse Reporting\n\nAct shall have immunity from any liability, civil or criminal, that\n\nmight otherwise be incurred or imposed. Any participant shall have\n\nthe same immunity with respect to participation in any judicial\n\nproceeding resulting from the report.\n\nB. No physician, surgeon, resident, intern, physician’s\n\nassistant, registered nurse, or any other health care professional\n\nexamining, attending, or treating any victim who is over the age of\n\neighteen (18) years and is not an incapacitated adult of what\n\nappears to be domestic abuse or is reported by the victim to be\n\ndomestic abuse, shall not be required to make a report of the\n\ncriminally injurious conduct unless requested by the victim to do so\n\nand shall have immunity from liability, civil or criminal, that\n\nmight otherwise be incurred or imposed for not making the report.\n\nAny participant shall have the same immunity with respect to\n\nparticipation in any judicial proceeding resulting from the report.\n\nC.
