Subject to the availability of funds, any district or\n\nmunicipal court of record of this state may establish and maintain a\n\ndomestic violence court program pursuant to the provisions of this\n\nsection.\n\nB. For purposes of this section, \"domestic violence court\"\n\nmeans a specialized judicial process for domestic matters both civil\n\nand criminal in nature that arise out of the same family or domestic\n\ncircumstance.\n\nC. The presiding judge of a district or municipal court of\n\nrecord may appoint an individual judge to preside over related\n\ncriminal, family and matrimonial matters that arise in the context\n\nof domestic violence. Criminal domestic violence charges,\n\nprotective orders and any actions for divorce, separate maintenance,\n\nguardianship, adoption or any other proceeding involving custody or\n\nvisitation between the same parties may be presented to the domestic\n\nviolence court.\n\nD.
