There is hereby created within the Department of Corrections\n\nthe \"Community Sentencing Division\". The purpose of the Division\n\nshall be to implement and administer the Oklahoma Community\n\nSentencing Act and any provisions of law relating to the operation\n\nand management of a statewide community sentencing system.\n\nB. The Community Sentencing Division shall employ an executive\n\nmanagement staff consisting of a deputy director and such other\n\nemployees as authorized by the Legislature and subject to\n\nappropriations, who shall be unclassified state employees. In\n\naddition to the executive management staff, there shall be an\n\nappropriate number of local community sentencing system\n\nadministrators as authorized by the Legislature and subject to\n\nappropriations, who shall be unclassified state employees of the\n\nDivision. The deputy director of the Division shall report directly\n\nto the Director of the Department of Corrections or designee. The\n\nLegislature shall provide the Department of Corrections sufficient\n\nfunds for administrative support to the Division, and the Division\n\nshall have a separate legislative appropriation for the\n\nimplementation and operation of the statewide community sentencing\n\nsystem pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Community\n\nSentencing Act. The Director of the Department of Corrections or\n\ndesignee shall hire and set the salary of the executive management\n\nstaff.
