Stat. tit. 22, § 22-988.4","heading":"Mandatory local system","body":"In jurisdictions where a community sentencing system has not\n\nbeen established prior to the effective date of this act, the Chief\n\nJudge of the Judicial District shall establish the geographic\n\nboundaries of a community sentencing system which shall be the\n\nboundaries of each county, unless the Chief Judge establishes one or\n\nmore multicounty community sentencing systems consisting of two or\n\nmore contiguous counties within the judicial district; provided,\n\nhowever, the consent of the sheriff of each affected county and each\n\ndistrict attorney operating within each of the subject counties must\n\nbe obtained before a county may join a proposed multicounty\n\ncommunity sentencing system.
