Stat. tit. 24, § 24-150","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act:\n\n1. “Consumer” means an individual who is also a resident of\n\nthis state;\n\n2. “Consumer report” has the meaning ascribed to it in 15\n\nU.S.C., Section 1681a(d);\n\n3. “Consumer reporting agency” has the meaning ascribed to it\n\nin 15 U.S.C., Section 1681a(f);\n\n4. “Proper identification” has the meaning ascribed to it in 15\n\nU.S.C., Section 1681h(a)(1); and\n\n5. “Security freeze” means a notice placed in a consumer report\n\nof a consumer, at the request of the consumer and subject to certain\n\nexceptions, that prohibits the consumer reporting agency from\n\nreleasing the consumer report or credit score of the consumer\n\nrelating to the opening of new accounts or the extension of credit.","path":["OK Code","Title 24"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os24.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"644a67c33161d6f760ffbfa04c92fe74b7a64f8836800e7f60cd712601d4c029","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-24-24-15","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-24-24-151"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
