An individual or entity that maintains its own notification\n\nprocedures as part of an information privacy or security policy for\n\nthe treatment of personal information and that are consistent with\n\nthe timing requirements of the Security Breach Notification Act\n\nshall be deemed to be in compliance with the notification\n\nrequirements of subsection A or B of Section 163 of this title if\n\nthe individual or entity notifies residents of this state in\n\naccordance with its procedures in the event of a breach of security\n\nof the system.\n\nB. The following entities shall be deemed to be in compliance\n\nwith the notification requirements of subsection A or B of Section\n\n163 of this title if such entities provide notice to the Attorney\n\nGeneral as required by subsection E of Section 163 of this title:\n\n1. A financial institution that complies with the notification\n\nrequirements prescribed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the\n\nfederal Interagency Guidance on Response Programs for Unauthorized\n\nAccess to Customer Information and Customer Notice;\n\n2. An entity that complies with the notification requirements\n\nprescribed by the Oklahoma Hospital Cybersecurity Protection Act of\n\n2023 or the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of\n\n1996 (HIPAA); and\n\n3.
