This act provides for exclusive remedies within the state of\n\nthe policies for individuals alleging discrimination in employment\n\non the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, creed,\n\nage, disability or genetic information.\n\nB. This act shall be construed according to the fair import of\n\nits terms to further the general purposes stated in this section and\n\nthe special purposes of the particular provision involved.\n\nC. Any policy, program, or statute that prohibits sex\n\ndiscrimination shall be construed to forbid unfair treatment of\n\nfemales or males in relation to similarly situated members of the\n\nopposite sex.
