Stat. tit. 25, § 25-1604","heading":"Public contractors","body":"In the case of a respondent who is found by the Attorney General\n\nto have engaged in a discriminatory practice in the course of\n\nperforming under a contract or subcontract with the state or any\n\ngovernmental entity, or agency thereof, if the discriminatory\n\npractice was authorized, requested, commanded, performed or\n\nrecklessly tolerated by the board of directors of the respondent or\n\nby a high managerial agent acting within the scope of his or her\n\nemployment, the Attorney General shall so certify to the contracting\n\nagency. Unless the Attorney General’s finding of a discriminatory\n\npractice is upheld in the course of judicial review, the finding of\n\ndiscrimination is not binding on the contracting agency. Upon\n\nreceiving a certification made under this section, a contracting\n\nagency may take appropriate action to:\n\n1. Terminate a contract or portion thereof previously entered\n\ninto with the respondent, either absolutely or on condition that the\n\nrespondent carry out a program of compliance with the provisions of\n\nSection 1101 et seq. of this title; and\n\n2. Assist the state and all governmental entities and agencies\n\nthereof to refrain from entering into further contracts, or\n\nextensions or other modifications of existing contracts, with the\n\nrespondent until the Attorney General is satisfied that the\n\nrespondent will carry out policies in compliance with the provisions\n\nof Section 1101 et seq. of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 25"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os25.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"bf373bc4e3898b68d009badce5f2ec4fc8c4f43f2aef56b7bf6b57d0cdfb497d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-25-25-1603","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-25-25-1605"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
