Stat. tit. 25, § 25-90.14","heading":"Injury Prevention Month","body":"May of each year is hereby established as \"Injury Prevention\n\nMonth”. Recognizing that injuries are the third leading cause of\n\ndeath in Oklahoma, and are the leading cause of death for persons\n\nbetween the ages of one (1) and forty-four (44), that many injuries\n\nare preventable, that the number of injuries can be substantially\n\nreduced through the use of proven, cost-effective injury prevention\n\napproaches and that these approaches should be promoted through\n\npublic information and education:\n\n1. The Governor shall annually issue a proclamation encouraging\n\nthe widespread dissemination of injury prevention information; and\n\n2.
