Stat. tit. 26, § 26-1-101","heading":"General elections","body":"On the first Tuesday succeeding the first Monday of November,\n\n1976, and every four (4) years thereafter, a General Election shall\n\nbe held, at which time electors for President and Vice President\n\nshall be elected. On said date, and every two (2) years thereafter,\n\nUnited States Senators and United States Representatives, whose\n\nterms expire before the next succeeding General Election, and state,\n\ndistrict and county officers, whose terms expire before the next\n\nsucceeding General Election, shall be elected.
