Stat. tit. 26, § 26-11-102","heading":"Declaration of candidacy after appointment","body":"A Justice of the Supreme Court or Judge of the Court of Criminal\n\nAppeals who has been appointed and who will have served twelve (12)\n\nmonths in office before the next General Election and who seeks to\n\nbe retained in office must file a Declaration of Candidacy to be\n\nretained in office with the Secretary of State not less than sixty\n\n(60) days before the date of such election.
