The board of education of every school district and\n\ntechnology center school district shall notify, by resolution, the\n\nsecretary of the county election board responsible for certifying\n\nits election of any regular or special election.\n\nB. The resolution calling for an election or elections shall\n\ninclude, but shall not be limited to, the following information:\n\n1. Date or dates of the election or elections;\n\n2. Identification of the office or offices to be filled,\n\nqualifications of candidates for office and the length of term of\n\neach;\n\n3. Information describing election districts within the school\n\ndistrict, if applicable;\n\n4. Ballot titles of the question or questions to be voted upon;\n\n5. Information describing the persons eligible to vote in the\n\nelection; and\n\n6. All other information necessary for conducting the election\n\nor elections.\n\nC. Resolutions calling for regular elections shall be delivered\n\nto the secretary of the county election board no fewer than fifteen\n\n(15) days preceding the first day of the filing period established\n\nin Section 13A-105 of this title. The resolution shall contain all\n\nquestions to be voted upon at the election to be held on the day as\n\nrequired in Section 13A-103 of this title.\n\nD. Resolutions calling for special elections shall be delivered\n\nto the secretary of the county election board no fewer than sixty\n\n(60) days preceding the election. A special filing period, if\n\nnecessary, shall be scheduled for three days and shall begin not\n\nmore than twenty (20) days following the date the resolution is\n\nrequired to be submitted to the county election board.\n\nE. In addition to notifying the secretary of the county\n\nelection board of the election by resolution as required in this\n\nsection:\n\n1. For elections of members of the board of education of a\n\nschool district, the board shall also publish a legal notice for\n\neach regular and special election in one issue of a legal newspaper\n\nof the county, as defined by Section 106 of Title 25 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes, in the county wherein the school district administrative\n\noffice is located at least ten (10) days prior to the filing period\n\nand shall issue a news release of the upcoming filing period and\n\nelection to a newspaper of general circulation in the county wherein\n\nthe school district administrative office is located. The legal\n\nnotice and press release shall include, but shall not be limited to,\n\nthe dates of the filing period for the election or elections and the\n\noffice or offices to be filled. The notice shall also be posted at\n\nthe school district administrative offices and county election board\n\noffices; and\n\n2. For elections of members of the board of education of a\n\ntechnology center school district, the board shall also publish a\n\nlegal notice for each regular and special election in one issue of a\n\nlegal newspaper of the county, as defined by Section 106 of Title 25\n\nof the Oklahoma Statutes, in each county wherein the school district\n\nis a member in the technology center district at least ten (10) days\n\nprior to the filing period. Additionally, the technology center\n\nschool district shall issue a news release of the upcoming filing\n\nperiod and election to a newspaper of general circulation in each\n\ncounty wherein the school district is a member in the technology\n\ncenter district. The legal notice and press release shall include,\n\nbut shall not be limited to, the dates of the filing period for the\n\nelection or elections and the office or offices to be filled.
