Stat. tit. 26, § 26-2-101.1","heading":"Appointment of members from certain political parties","body":"No later than March 1, 2015, and every four (4) years\n\nthereafter, the state central committee of the political party\n\nhaving the largest number of registered voters, based upon the\n\nlatest January 15 registration report, shall submit to the Governor\n\na list of ten (10) nominees for membership on the State Election\n\nBoard, and the state central committee of the political party having\n\nthe second largest number of registered voters, based upon the\n\nlatest January 15 registration report, shall submit to the Governor\n\na list of ten (10) nominees for membership on the State Election\n\nBoard. The Governor shall be confined to the lists of names\n\nsubmitted by each party and shall appoint two (2) members and one\n\n(1) alternate member of the State Election Board from one political\n\nparty and one (1) member and one (1) alternate member of the State\n\nElection Board from the other political party. Appointments shall\n\nbe made no later than March 15, 2015, and every four (4) years\n\nthereafter.
