For any election held on or after the effective date of\n\nthis act, the inspector shall be paid Two Hundred Twenty-five\n\nDollars ($225.00).\n\n2. For any election held on or after the effective date of this\n\nact, judges and clerks shall be paid Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).\n\nB. Precinct officials assigned to work a polling place ten (10)\n\nmiles or more from their home, shall be allowed mileage\n\nreimbursement at the rate provided by the State Travel Reimbursement\n\nAct for mileage incurred from their home to and from their assigned\n\npolling place. In addition, inspectors shall be allowed mileage\n\nreimbursement at the rate provided by the State Travel Reimbursement\n\nAct for mileage incurred to receive or return ballots and materials\n\nfor the election.\n\nC. Compensation and mileage reimbursement provided shall be\n\npaid for any election conducted by a county election board.\n\nD. 1. Five Dollars ($5.00) of the compensation described in\n\nsubsections A and B of this section shall be paid by the county\n\nelection board from county funds and the remainder shall be paid by\n\nthe State Election Board for all regular Primary, Runoff Primary and\n\nGeneral Elections for state and federal offices, for the\n\nPresidential Preferential Primary Election, and for all statewide\n\nspecial elections and all special elections for United States\n\nRepresentatives or United States Senators and State Senators or\n\nState Representatives.\n\n2. Except for elections described in paragraph 1 of this\n\nsubsection, for all other elections conducted by a county election\n\nboard, the entity for which the election is being conducted shall\n\npay the compensation and mileage reimbursement described in\n\nsubsections A and B of this section; provided, if an election for\n\nmore than one entity is conducted in the same precinct, the entities\n\nshall equally share the cost of precinct official compensation and\n\nmileage reimbursement for that precinct.\n\nE.
