A Presidential Preferential Primary for recognized political\n\nparties shall be held on the first Tuesday in March in each of the\n\nyears in which the President and Vice President of the United States\n\nare to be elected.\n\nB. If one or more states having a mutual boundary with this\n\nstate establish a single date for a regional primary, the State\n\nElection Board is authorized to change the date of the Oklahoma\n\nprimary to the date established for the regional primary, as long as\n\nthe date is not before the first Tuesday in March.\n\nC. No county, municipality, school district or other entity\n\nauthorized by law to call elections shall schedule an election on\n\nany date during the twenty (20) days immediately preceding the date\n\nof any such Primary Election.
