In each even-numbered year and at such other times as he or\n\nshe deems necessary, the Secretary of the State Election Board shall\n\ncause to be conducted a training program in each county for precinct\n\ninspectors, judges, clerks and other precinct officials.\n\nB. 1. The Secretary of the State Election Board shall\n\ndetermine the method by which such training is provided, and develop\n\nthe curriculum for such training.\n\n2. Only persons authorized by the Secretary of the State\n\nElection Board, and instructed in a manner to be determined by the\n\nSecretary, shall conduct the training of precinct officials.\n\nC. 1. Persons attending such training programs prior to\n\nJanuary 1, 2021, shall be paid Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) from\n\nstate funds after completing such training, through a procedure\n\nprescribed by the Secretary of the State Election Board that\n\nconforms as nearly as practicable with Section 3-105.1 of this\n\ntitle. Beginning January 1, 2021, the training payment shall\n\nincrease to Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00).\n\n2. Persons attending such training programs shall be allowed\n\nmileage reimbursement at the rate provided by the State Travel\n\nReimbursement Act to be paid from county funds.\n\nD. 1. In addition to the training described in subsection A of\n\nthis section, the Secretary of the State Election Board may develop\n\nsupplemental training programs or materials.\n\n2. Supplemental training may be provided by correspondence or\n\nby a remote method that does not require the personal attendance of\n\na trainee.\n\n3. No payment shall be provided to a person for supplemental\n\ntraining for which the person's personal attendance at a training\n\nsite is not required.\n\nE.
