Stat. tit. 26, § 26-4-101","heading":"Persons entitled to become registered voters -","body":"Exceptions.\n\nEvery person who is a qualified elector as defined by Section 1\n\nof Article III of the Oklahoma Constitution shall be entitled to\n\nbecome a registered voter in the precinct of his or her residence,\n\nwith the following conditions:\n\n1. Persons convicted of a felony shall be eligible to register\n\nto vote when they have:\n\na. fully served their sentence of court-mandated calendar\n\ndays or had their sentence discharged, including any\n\nterm of incarceration, parole or supervision, or\n\ncompleted a period of probation ordered by any court,\n\nb. received a commutation that reduced the sentence of\n\nany active felony conviction to time served pursuant\n\nto federal or state law and have no other outstanding\n\nsentence under any other felony conviction,\n\nc. received a commutation pursuant to subsection F of\n\nSection 332.2 of Title 57 of the Oklahoma Statutes for\n\na crime that has been reclassified from a felony to a\n\nmisdemeanor and has no remaining time to serve,\n\nincluding:\n\n(1) any incomplete term of incarceration,\n\n(2) any remaining parole or supervision, or\n\n(3) any incomplete period of probation, or\n\nd. been granted a pardon pursuant to federal or state law\n\nand have no other outstanding sentence under any other\n\nfelony conviction; and\n\n2. Any person who has been adjudged to be an incapacitated\n\nperson as such term is defined by Section 1-111 of Title 30 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes shall be ineligible to register to vote. When\n\nsuch incapacitated person has been adjudged to be no longer\n\nincapacitated such person shall be eligible to become a registered\n\nvoter. The provisions of this paragraph shall not prohibit any\n\nperson adjudged to be a partially incapacitated person as such term\n\nis defined by Section 1-111 of Title 30 of the Oklahoma Statutes\n\nfrom being eligible to register to vote unless the order adjudging\n\nthe person to be partially incapacitated restricts such person from\n\nbeing eligible to register to vote.","path":["OK Code","Title 26"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os26.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9a83210cc55ec08720b8b62dbed890c1643d4a5827c3d21a9f0e1187d989c235","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-26-26-3-301.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-26-26-4-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
