Stat. tit. 26, § 26-4-116","heading":"Transfer of registrations","body":"If a registered voter of a county changes his or her residence\n\nto another precinct within the same county, he or she shall be\n\nentitled to transfer his or her registration in a manner prescribed\n\nby the Secretary of the State Election Board. The secretary of the\n\ncounty election board shall change the registration information of\n\nsuch registered voter in the voter registration database and shall\n\nissue a new voter identification card to the voter.
